Staycations – Is the Tourism Sector promoting enough?
    

Staycations became a popular phenomenon in the UK in 2009 as a weak pound made overseas holidays significantly more expensive. From backyard pools and pitching a tent in the garden to visits to local parks, museums and attendance at local festivals, staycationers seem to be giving the local Tourism economy a boost!

 
The Tourism sector seems to be promoting more and Spot On Design and Print are definitely getting more printed material orders from this sector for Leaflets, Tickets, Posters and Brochures. But is the sector taking full advantage of this phenomenon?

 
If it’s a Staycation or Nearcation, whatever buzz words are being used means that there’s an opportunity to promote through the use of innovative printed material
